New world order
The 2005 World
Games in Duisburg, Germany, July 13-17, 2005, brought together a
talented collection of male and female bodybuilders to battle it out
for medals, recognition and supremacy. This prestigious annual event
again provided a sterling showcase for the best amateur bodybuilders
from around the globe.
The Duisburg Organizing Committee was gracious in hosting
bodybuilding at the World Games, and the IFBB offers thanks to all
of the committee's unheralded behind-the-scenes efforts that allowed
these iron men and women to shine onstage.
IFBB President Ben Weider extends his thanks to the following
federation officials who contributed greatly to the smooth and
